Jelly Belly is an established producer of candy and jelly beans since 1869. Jelly Belly has more than 50 varieties of Jelly Beans in its product line and is arguably the world’s top jelly bean producer. Although, jelly beans and candies remain Jelly Belly’s forte, the company also produces a wide array of other products such as confections, sugar free candies, cold stone creamery and sports beans. The company’s production facility is in California and there are a number of retail outlets selling products in addition to their online presence.
The production units produce more than 34 million pounds of candy annually. Their sports beans category caters to athletes who take it as a supplement during periods of rigorous training and exercise. Since November 2007, another line of products was launched targeted at the sports and supplement market – Extreme Sports Beans. While the sports beans come in flavors of fruit punch, berry blue, orange and lemon lime, the newer Extreme Sports Beans come in two flavors only – Cherry and Watermelon.
