A normal meal should look like this: Carbohydrates - 3-5 grams/kg/day, Protein - 0.8 - 1.0 gram/kg/day and fat - 0.5 - 1.5 grams/kg/day.
People who are participating in moderate amounts of intense exercises is recommended to take 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per kilogram per day, that equates to about 50 – 225 grams of protein per day for a 50 to 150 kilogram person. People who are conscious of their weight such as cyclists, runners, triathletes, gymnasts, swimmers, skaters and dancers, are often susceptible to protein malnutrition.
It is important to note that not all proteins are the same. This drink does its job with 43g of protein and lots of nutrition. I use Myoplex before workouts and after them! The taste is just OK!
